• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/IT.
• Good communication skills, self-motivation and excellent logical thinking are required.
• Proactive, positive approach.
• Able to work independently or as a team and remain highly motivated. Opportunity to work in the region.
• VCP or NetBackup certification preferred.  However, candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
• Windows 2003/2008 knowledge is essential.
• At least 2 years experience in NetBackup, storage networking or virtualization.
• Knowledge in network and security.
• Excellent background in systems. Candidates with Linux or UNIX background are preferred.

• To be able to implement projects, support and troubleshoot issues.
• Be customer focused, regularly evaluating new technology, available external solutions, business practices, and best practices.
• Providing quality support and management of issues through to resolution.
• Delivery of IT services, covering:
  - Project planning
  - Requirements gathering
  - Documentation
  - Problem escalation and management
  - Troubleshooting and offering workaround solutions
  - Proactive prevention of problems
  - Identification of trends
