• To provide 2nd level technical support & consultation service.
• To handle and managed projects successfully.
• To be able to implement and support network (Cisco, Juniper etc) or application server (DNS, Proxy, Lotus Notes, Firewall, Mail, etc).
• To be able to manage and support Windows, UNIX and Linux system.
• To be able to quickly isolate and trouble-shoot any network, system and application proble provide professional and technical services.
• Involved in IT project management.
• Be customer focused, regularly evaluating new technology, available external solutions, business practices, and best practice skills.
• Providing quality Second-Level Support and Management of issues through to resolution
• Delivery of IT services, covering:
  - Escalation of problem management
  - Assessing configuration details from the configuration
    management database
  - Investigation of possible work-arounds
  - Problem control
  - Error Control
  - Proactive prevention of problems
  - Identification of Trends
  - Obtain and supply management information from problem
     management data

Requirements :

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science.
• Good communication skill, highly motivated and excellent logical thinking are required.
• Able to work hard under tight schedules, independently or as a team and remain highly motivated.
• MCSE and CCNP certification preferred, however, candidates with the relevant experience would also be considered.
• Willing to work flexible hours and travel overseas when required.
• At least 3 -5 years experience in Network and Security technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of Cisco inter-networking solutions, together with a background in Network Security (Checkpoint, Netscreen, PIX, etc.) .
• Experience with DNS, Proxy and IDS/IPS.
• Experience with Network Management platforms, ie: Openview, MRTG, Cisco Works, Tivoli or other, Certification in CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCSP, CCIE, CISSP, CCSE or other.
• Experience in checkpoint security
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and other common protocols.
• Excellent background in information security.
